Recap

Here's a synopsis of what's been going on here the past 2 weeks:

We returned home from the beach on July 11th. On the 14th, the kids and I got back in the car and met my parents in Spartanburg, then headed to my grandparent's in Kingsport, TN. We had a nice visit with them and my uncle and his grandson. We spent the night up there and then got back in the car and headed home the following day, the 15th, which just so happened to be Marc's and my 9th wedding anniversary! Hard to believe we've been married that long!

On Thursday the 16th, Marc's parents came and picked up Andrew and took him back to Greenville with them for a couple days. On the 17th, we had Music by the Pond, but not before the girls and I headed down to Columbia for the day to do some shopping with Nana! I think the girls are pretty well set for next summer now! :)

On Sunday, the 19th, my mom came up to babysit while Marc and I headed to the National Whitewater Center with Misty and Scott, and some other friends for Scott's birthday surprise! The surprise wasn't over there though as Misty had planned a surprise party back at the house where even more friends and neighbors were awaiting our return. When we got back, my mom left with Mary McLean for the week, and I took the other two over to the Grant's for the party.

Mary McLean spent this past week at "Camp Nana 2009" where she got lots of good one on one time with Nana and Pops, and even had a lovely princess tea party with my parent's friend's granddaughter, Macy! (pictures to follow)

Mary Mac came home on Friday and we spent the weekend hanging out around the house and cleaning out the garage and kitchen!

These past two weeks have flown by! I hope it slows down somewhat because the first day of school will be here before we know it, and believe it or not, I'm not QUITE ready for that yet!
