Yesterday was the annual Labor Day festivities at our neighborhood pool. We were the first ones out there yesterday when they opened at 10:00 and stayed until 3:30 that afternoon! There was a DJ there from 1-3, and free pizza from Dominos and Papa Johns! The DJ led everyone in all kinds of games. Andrew rocked the "little kids" hula hoop contest, I was shocked by his talent, I had no idea he could hula hoop! Mary McLean joined in on everything too...including the slash competition. Yes, the child that will NOT get her face wet, jumped in the pool off the side! I was shocked, way to wait until the last possible moment of summer to go for it, Mary Mac! ;) We were very proud of her for doing it, she was tied for first place for a while, but it ended up being a 4 way tie, with Mackenzie, Andrew, and a couple other kids. We had a great time out there. John B, Jessica, and Evan even came out yesterday morning to hang out for a little while! What a great ending to our summer!
