Spring fever

We definitely have "Spring fever" in our household right now, and the weather this past weekend was just enough to make us want spring here to stay even more!  It was gorgeous here in Charlotte on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!  The kids spent most of the day Friday outside playing, then Saturday (after our membership class at church), all except for naps, was spent outside.  Yesterday when we got home from church, the kids ate a quick lunch and then ran directly outside to play in the warm sunshine.  As soon as they woke up from their naps, they were out there again until about 5:00.  It was wonderful.  What was even better was that being outside in the warm sun actually made Mary Mac and Andrew get along a bit better!  Yesterday after naps, they were outside playing so great together.  It was so funny to watch. Marc and I stood at the kitchen window watching and listening to them play.  Andrew was playing football, and Mary McLean was being his cheerleader.  She was on the side doing the cheers she's learned.  It was great to see them supporting each other and having a good time together without any bickering!  Sorry I didn't snap any pictures this weekend, it was just so pretty outside, I totally forgot about the camera!  I wish this weather was here to stay, unfortunately it's supposed to get cold again this week, and all the rain today is pulling us back into our winter hibernation.  :(
