Baur happenings

This week has been so long! Coming back from vacation has been hard, I can't seem to get motivated to do anything. We really haven't done much of anything all week. Monday, Anna Kate came over for a little bit to play with the girls while Chris and Jennifer took her new baby sister, Allie, to the doctor. It was so much fun having her over here. Mary Mac and Emma just adore her.

Yesterday Emma had a big milestone, she took 3 steps!!! :) She has taken one at a time here and there, but yesterday was the first time she took multiple steps at once. I'm excited for her, but dreading it at the same time.

Today has been interesting. I got up this morning and then Andrew came to me complaining that his chest hurt and he needed ice. I looked him over and couldn't see where he had injured himself or anything and told him that ice wouldn't help. I asked him more about his pain and he said it hurt inside. Knowing that the doctors have heard a murmur before, I called to make an appointment with his pediatrician. She listened to his chest and said that she could still hear a murmur and that maybe it was time to consult a cardiologist. (I started seeing dollar signs flipping through my head). She referred us to Sanger Clinic, and as luck would have it, someone we all know and love just happens to be a Practice Manager for Sanger in Rock Hill! (Marc) ;) She said not to worry about limiting his activity and to continue to let him run around and be a normal 5 year old boy. So I am sitting here awaiting a call from the cardiologist to schedule an EKG and ultrasound of his heart. The doctor didn't seem very concerned about it, so I'm trying to remain calm until we have more information on what we may be dealing with. Otherwise here are a few pictures of the girls from this week.

Something wrong with this picture- Emma pushing MM in the baby stroller

Because, Emma won't fit, she's too chubby...

Mary Mac had it made, Emma was doing all the hard work!
