14 months

Emma turned 14 months old last Friday. It is amazing how much she is changing every day. She has many nicknames in our house including: Memma, Emma-Beth, Emma-bean, Emma-lou-who, Punkin, and Punkin Pie, just to name a few. She is definitely finding her voice in our house and letting her big brother and sister know that they can't necessarily push her around anymore. She is quite the mimic and will try and repeat words to you all the time. She knows where her belly button and nose are, and we are working on eyes and mouth. She is starting to try and run to keep up with Andrew and Mary McLean and it is actually pretty funny to watch. She loves baby dolls and playing in Mary Mac's room. She gives the babies hugs and kisses and rocks them. She likes to push them around in the baby stroller too. She likes "real" babies to and loves to give hugs to people. Her favorite song is "Old MacDonald" and she loves to sing E-I-E-I-O with you. She loves her Baby VanGough video and will sit and stare at the tv any time it is on, in a complete trance. Emma also loves to be outside and will cry and scream when it's time to come back in. That is about the only time you will hear her get upset though, she is such a happy, giggly little girl, always smiling. Emma is definitely a "lover" and mommy's girl! My little Memma is growing up so quickly.
