Another fun weekend

Yesterday afternoon, Andrew had his last Tball game of the season. It was bittersweet as we were so happy to have our week nights and weekends back to normal, but sad to leave such a great group of teammates until Spring. Coach Ray is going to try and get the boys together to practice every now and then over the winter. We hope to keep this team together when the draft comes back around for the spring season. Andrew had two great games this week, he had 4 hits off the pitcher this week, and he is really getting good on his fielding. I'm really impressed with how much he has improved this season. Mary McLean and Emma had fun running around with all the teammate's sisters, so at least they were entertained. After the game, Coach Ray took the boys to Brusters for some ice cream, as you will see in the pictures, Andrew REALLY liked his chocolate ice cream cone! :)

What a ham!

Anna, Mary McLean, Hallie, and Quinn- they were such troopers all season!

What a mess, can't take him anywhere!

After ice cream and naps, I got the kids ready to head over to the Grant's house. Misty, Scott, Marc, and I had plans to head out to Scarowinds (a "haunted" Carowinds). Andrew and Mary Mac were thrilled to be going to Mackenzie's house, and Emma was very excited to see Campbell. Once the babysitter arrived and got settled, we headed out. We had such a great time, who knew that Carowinds had an entire "adult" section with roller coasters and everything! ;) Misty and I were joking about trying to remember the last time we got to ride a "real" roller coaster. Scarowinds did not dissappoint and I'm not embarrassed to say, I was scared more than a few times. When we got back to Scott and Misty's we found Andrew, Mackenzie, and Mary Mac sprawled out on the sofa fast asleep. I will have to get the picture from Misty of the 3 of them passed out on the sofa, it was priceless!

Scarowinds sounds better than I thought it would be. Maybe we'll try it out next year. Maybe by then I'll have a good babysitter and will actually use her. :)
