I interrupt your previously scheduled post to bring you this:
Marc took Andrew for a haircut Tuesday night. That will never happen again. The lady "supposedly" misunderstood what Marc was telling her to do, and instead butchered my poor child's beautiful hair! I'm so angry at this woman who would do such a thing. And before you jump on me, yes, I KNOW it will grow back, but in the meantime, my son has to walk around looking like this! I am awake right now trying to figure out just how long I will have to wait to see his hair again. I *think* he last had a haircut sometime in April (after Easter-maybe towards the end of Spring Break). This all over shave is what he usually gets on the back and sides of his hair, so maybe in another month, he will have some more hair again. :(
I cried when I first saw it. I really thought when Marc called to tell me what had happened, that maybe somehow he was playing some cruel joke on me, but no, when I saw Andrew I hardly recognized him. He doesn't look like himself anymore. Poor thing came home from school today and said everyone kept telling him he looked weird, I didn't know what to say other than, "they just have to get used to it," and, "it will grow back." While in the back of my mind I'm thinking, "yeah, you do look weird." I know I'm a horrible mommy. I love this kid, and I just want his hair back. Look how handsome he is with that gorgeous thick head of hair:

Oh my goodness! He is still a stud and looks darling as ever..What a smile! I can imagine how sad it makes you though. This time it will grow back even thicker! Love ya..Melissa
he can tell everyone he joined the army!! he still looks sweet, and think how cool his head will be for the summer : )
I would have cried too! But he still looks cute as can be...just different. :) The kids in his class will get used to it and so will you. I am sure it will grow back fast. (Adam did this to his hair right before our engagement pics. It has been years but I will never forget it. I cried and think about it everytime I see those pics.)
Wow, that is short! It looks very cute though, perfect for the start of summer.
I so understand though how "weird" it is... when we cut Maddux's hair I hardly recognized him and I didn't like it. But now it's good and it's hard for me to remember the long hair!
i think he looks cute! at least it is summer. he might enjoy a shaved head at the pool and in the heat!
