Saturday ended up being a beautiful day out on the beach. We had a very brief rain shower as we were loading up to head over to the beach, but it passed quickly. There was nothing holding our kids back anyways, even a little rain wasn't going to stop them.
Emma wasted no time getting to her digging.
Andrew and Mary McLean found a bunch of lady bugs on the beach. They had fun letting them "tickle" their hands.
Cutie pie wanted a bathing suit just like her big sister when we were shopping on Friday. Her first "belly" suit like Mary Mac's. She was still cute as a button even with that belly hanging out! ;)
Mary Mac jumping in the water. Probably because it was fa-reezing!
Andrew ready to ride some waves
I don't know how they could stand the frigid waters
Emma was happy digging her hole. Something about the waves and movement of the ocean frightens Emma. She won't go near it, unless you carry her out past all the waves.
Not a problem for Mary McLean
Emma would come just to the edge and yell for us to fill her watering can up with water, because she wasn't going anywhere near the waves
Sweet sisters
One of the great things about Pawleys is the creek on the south end. The kids love swimming in it, and even Emma will go in because there are no waves
Mary McLean easing Emma into the cold water
Emma was so excited to be able to get in. She kept calling it her "pool"
Mary Mac's blue lips matched her bright blue eyes
Emma didn't want to get out
