Show and Tell- Letter "N"

A few weeks ago Mary McLean was searching for what to bring to show and tell for the week, I'm not sure what the letter was then, but she said to me, "When I have the letter 'N' I want to bring Nana, because 'Nana' starts with 'N'!"
I told her I would check and see if Nana was available, but that she might have to work that day.  I told Mary Mac's teachers what she wanted to do, and they said that would be great, so I asked Nana when we were at her house for the PSC.  She checked her calander and sure enough she was free.
Mary McLean could not have been more excited!  All week long she talked about how Nana was coming for her show and tell.
Let me tell you Nana hit one out of the park.  She did an awesome job (but really we all knew she would- I mean she was a 2nd grade teacher for forever, and now subs almost every day, it's in her blood)!  First Mary McLean introduced her and told her class that she had chosen her Nana because "Nana starts with N.  N-A-N-A."  Then Mary McLean sat next to her while she read the kids a Peter Rabbit book.  She also brought along little hand puppets for the kids to take turns acting out the story they had read.  Genius!  Mary Mac's class did so good, but seriously, they are a REALLY good class anyways.  At the end of the day, Mary Mac got to hand out a plastic Easter Egg filled with chocolate candy that Nana had brought for each of them.  Can we say "best show and tell ever!?"  Thank you Nana for driving all the way up here to be Mary McLean's show and tell.  It meant the world to her, and she hasn't let that egg go since Friday!  ;)
