We have had quite the busy week around here. Andrew was in bible school at Good Shepherd (where he went to preschool) all week. He loved it, and his good friend, Luke, was in his class too.
On Tuesday we went down to Columbia and spent the night, then got up early Wednesday and came back for bible school again. Wednesday night I got to sneak off for Bunco with the girls. I took my neighbor, Sarah, with me. We all had a great time and actually had 12 people this time!
Thursday after we picked Andrew up, we came home for quick naps and then Andrew was off to Luke's birthday party at the Palisades swimming pool. He had a great time there, they even have water slides at their pool, which Andrew LOVED! I of course forgot my camera, there would have been some great shots of him shooting out of the slide. Thursday night we went to dinner with friends to celebrate Jessica and Megan's birthdays. Times surely have changed for all of us. John reserved the back room at Lake Wylie Junction (so that our kids wouldn't disturb other patrons) and I think we had just about every high chair they owned back there with us. Andrew, Mary Mac, Anna Kate, and Avery had a blast running around while we waited for our food. Emma wanted to join them so badly, but she was stuck in her seat. ;) Somehow Liam and Aiden managed to sleep through all the madness!
Today was Andrew's last day of VBS. He had such a great time this week. I think he really enjoyed seeing all his friends from school again. We have spent the rest of the day packing and getting things organized so we can head off to the beach tomorrow!
Oh yeah, Emma is also standing unassisted for short periods of time now! No walking yet, but this is a start.
