On Friday Marc put together a cookout for my birthday and invited several of our friends and neighbors over to help celebrate. It was funny preparing for the party because I think I was preparing more so for the kids than I was for the adults. I wanted to make sure we had enough things to keep them entertained. My how things have changed over the years...maybe I really can be 30 after all! ;)

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to help celebrate my birthday with me!
On Saturday we braved the cold and rain for Andrew's last soccer game...which they won! Go Leprechauns!!!
Emma all bundled up, she didn't seem bothered by the rain or cold!

Saturday afternoon, after everyone had taken their naps, we headed over to our neighbor's Sarah and Kevin's house for another cookout. This was to celebrate Kevin completing his Master's degree. The kids had a great time running around with neighborhood kids. We love our neighborhood so much, there are so many great families and friends here!
Brent and Andrew playing Cornhole. They were completely in sync watching the bags!

On Sunday, we slathered on our sunscreen and headed up to the pool. We had a great time and were there for over 4 hours! Emma loved the splash park and had no fears with the water squirting up at her. Mary Mac did not want to get in the big pool, I think because it was so cold. Marc finally coaxed her in and she was fine for about 15 minutes, then she wanted out when she realized he wasn't holding on to her anymore. ;) We are looking forward to many more weekends at the pool this summer!

Happy 30th to you! It's hard to believe it, isn't it? I told my dad yesterday I feel like I'm about 23-24 so I'm just going to stay there. :) Sounds like you had a great weekend and celebrated in style!
Love all the pics! It looks like y'all had a really fun weekend. :)
