If you're happy and you know it....

..clap your hands!

I think the title of this post is fitting because Emma has reached a new milestone...yes, she is clapping her hands! She is so proud of herself for this accomplishment too, she gets so excited when you praise her for clapping. What a joy she is! I feel like most of the other posts have focused on her brother and sister, so this one is just for her!

So at 9 1/2 months, what's Emma up to now? Well, she is crawling all over the place and has been since the day of her 8 month birthday. Just before the 9 month marker, she started pulling up everywhere and even learned to climb the stairs. She is cruising around furniture and has also braved letting go a couple of times! She only has her two bottom teeth, but those top gums are so swollen, I swear those two teeth will pop through at any second. She is eating 3 meals a day consistently now and is down to three bottles. She takes 2-3 naps every day, and sleeps for about 12 hours at night. She is starting to learn to give "fives" and is waving too. My favorite thing though is when I'm holding her and I say, "Love Mommy" and she puts her head on my shoulder and gives me a little 'hug.' Emma is the sweetest, happiest baby, the ladies in our church nursery ask me every week when I go in to pick her up if she is ever unhappy or even cries. We are so blessed to have such a loving and laid back child. I love you pumpkin!
