Since I don't have pictures to post, I figure I'll post some of the funny quotes from around our house the past few weeks.

When we were heading down to the beach a few weekends ago, Mary McLean being true to form was being quite the chatterbox. She kept saying that she wanted to play a game in the car.

MM: Let's play a game!
Me: Ok, how about the "Quiet Game?!"
MM: No, how about the "Talking Game?!"
Andrew: How about "Simon Says?"
MM: Ok
Me: Ok, Simon Says, stop talking.
MM: No, Simon says, put your hands on your head

About 15 minutes later the game had died down and MM was still talking away, Andrew was a little over it himself.

Andrew: Mary McLean! When will you STOP TALKING?!?!?!!!
MM: Ummm....like 5 minutes.

Emma is becoming quite the talker herself and is beginning to speak in short sentences. In the car on the way to the beach she came up with her new phrase: "Paci fall down, down. Reach it, Mommy!"
Everything seemed to fall "down, down." It was so cute!

The other day Andrew and Mary McLean were in the kitchen coloring while I fixed dinner. MM says, "We are coloring pictures for the grownups. Mine is going to be pretty Andrew, and that will be AWESOME!"

Warning: the next one might be a little TMI....
Mary McLean had a little upset stomach the other day and calls me into the bathroom.
MM: Mommy, I got the potty all dirty, and I have crazy stinkies!
Me: It's ok sweetie.
MM: I think my crazy stinkies are from the coughs.
Me: No, I don't think they have anything to do with that.
MM: Oh, they are because I had a bad mood?
