Go Tigers!

The Koalas are hardly ever so visible when you go in, this one even got up and climbed around the tree for us!

Mackenzie is such a good big sister, even to Emma!

Last Friday we drove down to Columbia with the Grant girls to visit Riverbanks Zoo. We loaded up my car with kiddos bright and early so we could be down there when they opened, and hopefully finish before it got unbearably hot (it was forecasted to be in the 100's that day)! We had a great time sharing our favorite zoo with the Grants. I think Mackenzie and Campbell had fun, the animals were all out, so it really was a great trip. After the zoo, we went back to my parents house for a quick bite to eat and then a little swim in their new neighborhood pool. It was a great way to relax and cool off after our zoo trip. We were also trying to tire some little ones out in hopes of naps on the way home. We succeeded with Emma and Campbell. I think Mary Mac would have slept too if she didn't have her big brother sitting right next to her in the car, plus they were just all so excited to be riding together, they wanted to play.
After we got home, we dropped Andrew off for swim lessons and came home to get ready for "Music by the Pond." Last year our neighborhood hosted this event every Friday in June. We always had so much fun up there. This year they are doing it a little differently. It is going to be the 3rd Friday night each month through September. We loaded up the wagon, met the Grants and Nitsche's on the corner and walked up to the pond. It was a good time and needless to say, after all that activity, the kids slept like logs Friday night!
