I will apologize upfront for not having any pictures from the game yesterday. It was cold, and rainy, and with my history with cameras, I didn't risk pulling mine out and having something happen to it! I will get some pictures from Lori and add them later this week.
Yesterday morning started out bright and early, or should I say, dark and early. We had wanted to leave our house by 6am, but of course, things always run a little behind schedule when you are having to wake up and dress 3 kids, so we were about 20 minutes behind schedule. This was our first trip sans diapers, so we had wanted to leave a little early to account for potty breaks. As it turned out, we left in plenty of time and arrived in Clemson about 8:30, just enough time to drop our cooler off with the Alley's and my parents so we didn't have to lug it across campus.
We even got to Clemson House and found a great parking spot. Things were going well for us, Emma had made the trip accident-free, we had only had to stop once for a bathroom break on the way down. If only it had been nicer weather, the day would have been perfect! The rain came and went for most of the day, so we stayed pretty much under the tents at the tailgate.
My Tigers managed to play a great game and came out with a win, which was AWESOME! Once again, Andrew went to sit with Marc, Mary Mac went with my parents (and took an hour nap), and Emma came with me and Lori during the game. Emma doesn't last as long and starts to get a little restless, so I ended up going back out to the tailgate with her and watched the game on the tv there.
We got home around 6:15 or so, and all 3 kids were in bed by 7:20, we were all worn out! All in all it was a great day despite the rain and cold. Emma did great with the potty too. It was so nice to be able to go somewhere without a diaper bag in hand!
