Andrew had an "Animal Mask" project to do for school. They got to choose any wild animal to make a mask of and to find 5 interesting facts on. Andrew chose a buffalo??!! No idea what made him think of that particular animal, I was really expecting him to choose a Tiger, I mean seriously, we BLEED orange blood here. We are tigers thru and thru. But he was adamant about the Buffalo. Lucky for us, our dear friend Lori, just so happens to be dating someone whose family raises Buffalo, so we were able to get some great facts on them. So here is a picture of Andrew in his Buffalo mask that he made, and his report right below.

2) Can run 35 miles per hour, a racehorse can run 40 mph, but a buffalo can run farther
3) The mat of thick hair on its head can withstand a collision in fights with other buffalo
