The only one...
...of our little family to be spared this nasty stomach bug. Remember when I wrote about Andrew throwing up in the middle of the night? Well, he was sweet enough to share those wonderful germs with Marc, then Emma, and then myself. On Monday, when Emma was hugging the toilet, Mary Mac was outside playing in the beautiful spring-like weather and enjoying soaking up some Vitamin D. On Monday night/Tuesday morning, I woke up in the middle of the night feeling a bit..."off." I laid in bed thinking, this is it, it's my turn, I wasn't able to dodge this bullet, but I can get through...by 8 am I was thinking otherwise, this was NOT easy. I had Misty come and pick up the girls and take them to school because I could hardly walk, let alone drive. By 9 am, I was praying for someone to come and shoot me and put me out of my misery. Finally around 4:30 that afternoon, I moved downstairs to the couch in hopes that a change of scenery may be what I needed. I slept most of the day Tuesday, thankfully Marc was able to come home and pick the girls up from school, and stay here working the rest of the day. I slept all night Tuesday night. I woke up Wednesday feeling...ok. I would walk downstairs, and have to rest. I'd walk to the kitchen, and have to rest. I was Worn. Out. I had little to no energy on Wednesday. Thursday I woke up feeling actually somewhat normal, or at least I thought what normal was supposed to feel like. I tried the gym. It was actually quite funny. Me with no strength, in a weight training class. haha! I left early zapped of my energy store for the day. Friday afternoon, I started feeling ill again. I chugged some pepto in hopes of curing the nausea. It worked. By Saturday I was back to normal. Sunday was even better. Today, I'm trying the gym again. Wish me luck, it should go better than the last time!
