We are experiencing technical difficulties in our household right now. Last night our house was struck by lightning. We can no longer connect to the internet on our home computer (I'm on Marc's work laptop right now), we lost 2 tvs, washing machine, satellite, and power in Andrew and Mary McLean's rooms, along with a handful of other annoyances. Luckily the electrician came out today and was able to restore power to those two rooms as well as the dozen or so outlets that we had lost.
I wish I could be on here blogging about Mary Mac's wonderful performance in her dance recital, or about Andrew's last day of school. No such luck though. All our pictures are on the other computer, so I can't upload them onto blogger at this point in time. Hopefully we will be back to bloggin in no time. Until then, our days will be filled with appointments with cable/satellite people, adjusters, and the such. Fun times!
We are extremely grateful for how lucky we actually were in this situation. Things could have been so much worse, we are so thankful that no one was hurt and that our house didn't suffer any more damage than just these minor problems. I'll try and keep you posted on the outcome of things!

You are right...it definitely could have been much worse! I hope everything is back to normal soon!
