Clemson vs. NC State

Well, it was another boiling hot day in Death Valley. Andrew had a T-Ball game on Saturday, so it was just us "gurls," as Mary Mac would say (minus Emma, of course). Mary McLean, Lori, and I headed off to the 2nd home game of the season. After sitting in traffic in Clemson for an hour, we finally made it to our parking spot! With a little less than 2 hours until kickoff, we didn't have much tailgating time, not really a bad thing considering how hot it was. Luckily my parents had bought little handheld fans for us, so we were able to cool off a little bit with those. Mary Mac really enjoyed the ones with the spray bottle on them and had fun spraying the water in her hair. I was very impressed with how well Mary Mac did at the game. She kept wanting to go back and forth from our seats to my parents seats most of the time, though. ;) After the game, we loaded up and headed back up the road to Charlotte. Mary McLean slept almost the entire way home...she was really worn out from the day. We had a great time, and the Tigers pulled out another victory. The next two weeks will be busy with more home games, but thankfully we will get a break from the travel (and heat) after that for a few weeks!
Here are a couple of pictures I took of Andrew and Emma after we got home...couldn't leave them out! :)

Andrew watching the UGA/USC game. Andrew has a message for his Aunt Jill: "Go Dawgs!" (and Uncle Michael too, of course..heehee)
