We had a very busy Labor Day weekend, but had so much fun. We had our friends The Grants and Pohlmans over Saturday night to watch the Clemson game. (although, I'm not sure you could really call it a Clemson game, since I'm not sure the Clemson team showed up for it). Andrew and Mary McLean love playing with Mackenzie though, so at least the kids had a great time. Sarah also got in some good practice with Campbell and Emma for when her little one arrives in March! ;)
Sunday, we headed out to Carowinds with the Grant Family. Andrew and Mary Mac had the BEST time. We hit the kid rides first before heading over to the water park. I was anxious to see how Mary Mac would do on the rides since we have a big trip to Disney planned for December! (this trip is a surprise for the kids) She loved it and was most upset after waiting in line for one ride, only to be told she wasn't quite tall enough to ride. They also had a blast in the wave pool. Emma had a great time there too and would walk right out into the waves and fall face first, her vest would flip her over on her back and she would just be smiling and laughing away. She thought it was great! The kids were beat when we got home that afternoon, and Mary Mac took a 4 hour nap- she didn't get up until almost 6:30 that night!

Monday, we went to our neighborhood pool for the "Fiesta" they were having. We were actually able to stay at the pool for a record 3 1/2 hours! Andrew found some girls his age to play with, and one of them is actually in his class at school! Mary Mac and Mackenzie had a good time hanging out together once again, though I think most of their time was spent on a chair sharing the bag of Cheetos!

We had a great long weekend, but I think we need a weekend to recover from our weekend! No time to rest now though, football season is here!
