The kids enjoyed a special New Year's Eve celebration with my parents this year. They came up to keep the kids for us while Marc and I went to dinner with some friends. Nana and Pops came prepared for a party complete with party hats, blowers, and fun appetizer type party foods. The kids thought it was the best thing ever. My mom had even heard about some "Stomp firecrackers" that you do with bubble wrap, but it didn't work out quite like we thought it would. We decided that you need the big bubble wrap instead of the little ones. And before you see the pictures, yes, MM had been playing with her makeup, she doesn't really have two purple eyes! ;)
