I saw this on my friend Mary Beth's blog, and thought it looked like fun....

1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before? Several things, watched Andrew graduate from preschool (boohoo), took my daughter to her first dance class, went to Andrew's first soccer and T-ball games

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't make resolutions, I can't ever seem to keep them.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? I know LOTS of people that gave birth in 2008, even more that are ready to go for '09!

4. Did anyone close to you die? Fortunately, no.

5. What countries did you visit? None

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008? money ;)

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? December 7th, the day we surprised the kids with our Disney trip.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? hmmm...I lost almost 20 pounds.

9. What was your biggest failure? I gained some of it back. :(

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? I was sick a few times. Marc broke my toe at the beach. ;) heehee- just kidding, I did it all by myself.

11. What was the best thing you bought? Didn't really buy anything big, does our Disney vacation count?

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Emma's :)

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? At times I was appalled by the other two.

14. Where did most of your money go? BILLS and Clemson athletics

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Disney

16. What song will always remind you of 2008? I love this question but can't think of any off the top of my head.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? pretty much the same
b) thinner or fatter? little bit thinner.
c) richer or poorer? poorer

18. What do you wish you’d done more of? enjoying my children and not worrying so much.

19. What do you wish you’d done less of? (see above) Worried.

20. How did you spend Christmas? with my family

21. Did you fall in love in 2008? I fall in love with my family more and more each day.

22. What was your favorite TV program? Only 1? yikes. Probably Grey's. (but I have many guilty pleasures like, The Hills)

23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Spencer Pratt...I probably just strongly disliked him last year. ;)

24. What was the best book you read? Twilight. probably just because it is the most recent one I read in '08.

25. What was your greatest musical discovery? That Mary McLean can sing along to every one of the Disney princess songs...

26. What did you want and get? can't think of anything.

27. What did you want and not get? new carpet.

28. What was your favorite film of this year? Sex and The City

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 30. Marc and I went to dinner and then went to get stuff for a party he had for me later in the week.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? Nothing really.

31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? Hmmm...casual chic (yeah, right- that's just my imagination- it was really just whatever was comfortable for chasing little ones around)

32. What kept you sane? my Mom, and Marc

33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? Not sure...I love celebrity gossip.

34. What political issue stirred you the most? The election.

35. Who did you miss? My out of town friends and family.

36. Who was the best new person you met? Not sure...I don't really remember meeting anyone new last year...how sad.

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008. If the kids are quiet for too long, they're probably up to no good.
