Her beautiful curls before
Emma wasn't quite ready to sit alone
What is she going to do to me?
There they go :(
The "after" shot, with her cute little bobToday Emma turned 20 months. Only 4 more months until her 2nd birthday, can you believe it? Well, I finally did it. I broke down today and had her hair cut. It was a hard time for me, our last 1st haircut with our kids, Emma really is growing up, as much as I hate to admit it. I hated to say goodbye to her blonde curls. Hopefully they will come back, because they were so pretty, but the fe-mullet had to go.
At 20 months, Emma is still as amazing as ever. People comment on how clearly she speaks all the time (when she doesn't have that paci in her mouth, that is). She repeats pretty much everything I say, and loves to list through all her friends names. Every day when we pull up to the gym, she says, "Roman, Ava, Anna, Campbell" because those are the friends she sees there. At church the other day, we saw one of her friend's mommy, and she said, "Alex!" I was amazed that she recognizes who everyone belongs to. It's great that she can communicate almost everything she needs/wants, but I'm not sure I'm ready for another chatterbox like Mary McLean! ;)

So cute! I think Emma definitely debunks the myth that the paci delays speech! She's amazing!
