At 2:45 a.m on August 3rd, Emma Elizabeth turned 2 years old. These past two years have flown by in a blur of joy and activity. Emma has totally completed our family, I never even new we were missing a piece until she was born. What a blessing this little girl is to us. She is such a joyful, fiesty, and loving girl. I can't believe my baby is growing up. What a beautiful girl she has become.
Just a few things I love about our little punkin:
Her smile. It lights up her entire face, and brightens the darkest of days.
Her beautiful blue eyes, and how they sparkle along with her smile.
The love this little girl has for everyone. She won't go to bed at night without giving her brother and sister kisses.
Her amazing vocabulary. She is simply amazing with all she can say and comprehend. She has been speaking in sentences for several months now, which is awesome, she can tell me just about everything she ever wants or needs.
Her singing. She can sing so many songs now I've lost count. Her current favorite is "Love Story" by Taylor Swift. It really is hilarious.
Her giggles. They are infectious, when she gets going, just try and keep a smile off your face, I dare you!
Her hugs. They are the sweetest things, I love to get hugs from her because she throws her whole self into them and wraps those chubby little arms around my neck and squeezes with all her might.
Her dancing. The girl hears music and she can't help but shake her stuff. It's so cute to see that belly bouncing around and back and forth.
Her pouty face. Yes, this is also something I love about Emma, she can purse her lips just so and narrow her eyes at you in just the right way to make you know that you are not making her happy. I can't help but laugh at it, which of course makes her even madder, still so cute!
Her swimming. Emma is a fish as seen in videos on the blog, but I can't tell you how happy this makes me. She definately takes after me as I was also swimming at her age (and jumping off the diving board when my parents weren't looking, but that's a story for another day). ;) I love how much she enjoys the water, it has made our summer that much more enjoyable!
Yes, this is one special little girl. I haven't found anyone yet that can resist her, I know we sure can't.
Happy Birthday sweet girl. Mommy and Daddy love you very much and are so happy to have you as a part of our lives!

She is so stinkin' cute! Where did you have her outfit made? I would love to get our kids together sometime. Payton loves to sing and dance too. But her favorite is The Climb. Too funny! Maybe we will catch up a football game. It is just around the corner!
Happy Birthday Miss Emma! I can't resist her sweetness either :)
