Today was Emma's first day of preschool. To say I was excited would be somewhat of an understatement. Emma, had mixed emotions, all depending on her mood...oh how much she is like me! ;) Obviously from the above picture, at that moment she was NOT happy about going. (More so was the fact that I wouldn't let her take her brother's Stephen Joseph backpack with the firetruck, but that's beside the point) She cheered up pretty quickly as you will see below.
I was surprised at how well she did at drop-off. There were no tears (at least while I was there) from her. She sat down at the table and started drawing on the doodle pros they had laid out for them. She was mad that I wouldn't let her have her lunch bag right then, she really wanted those blueberries I had packed for her. I snuck out of the room while she was distracted, so I'm sure she will be fine today. The teachers did warn me that they like to do a LOT of painting and crafts in their class, so I'm guessing Emma won't be coming home in the adorable outfit I sent her in, rather the old hand-me-down sweatsuit I sent as a backup. ;) At least she starts out cute! heehee

What is Austin going to do without Emma to play with during the day!? She looks so precious though. And very excited!

Seriously, can I take Emma home with me!? And I just love the outfits Emma and MM were sporting. Tre cute!
