These two are thick as thieves. They are so close to each other. I'm actually glad I had them so close together in age because it has worked out so beautifully, they really love each other so much. This morning I found them on the couch sitting like this, practically on top of each other, watching their morning cartoons while I got ready. Mary Mac looked at Emma and said, "We're best friends, Emma!" And Emma looked at MM and said, "Yeah, you my best fwind Mary Mac." Melts my heart.
They really look out for one another too. At school if one of them is upset, the teachers know that they just have to get the other sister to help them feel better! At home if one of them is in trouble, the other one is usually fussing at me standing up for the trouble-maker.
I hope they stay this close forever. I'm sure when they are teenagers it won't be the same, but I sure do cherish the relationship they have now!
