Ok, I'm baaaack! I know you have missed me while I've been away. Really I've only been away because I haven't had a camera in over a week, so there have been no pictures to document anything. While I did get the camera back yesterday, I still have no pictures of anything new, so sorry, just another boring, non-picture, post of my ramblings. heehee
Well, we truly enjoyed our vacation or "staycation" last week. Marc had the entire week off from work and it was wonderful. The kids went down to Columbia on Monday and spent the night with Nana and Pops while Marc and I went on a real date! We even slept in the next day until 8:30!!!! For those of you out there that still think that is early, just wait until you have 3 kids running around at 6:15 every morning! We got the kids back on Tuesday afternoon, and stuck close to the house for the rest of the week.
On New Year's Eve we had our friends, the Grants, over for a low-key celebration. We put the kids down around 9:00 and then enjoyed an evening in playing games that don't have anything to do with princesses, candy gumdrops, Dora the Explorer, or whatever else! ;) It was really a fun way for us "old people" to ring in the New Year. Welcome 2010!
So taking a cue from my friend Mary Beth's page, here is a look back at what has happened with us in the 21st century so far. It has definately been packed full of life changing events, wonder what the next decade will have in store for us.

Traded in the Tahoe for something bigger, a Suburban
Marc left his job that had him traveling 4 nights/week so he could be home more, taking a sales job here in Charlotte
2008- Marc got an offer to go and work for a Cardiologist group as a Practice Manager
Mary McLean was potty trained
Andrew started Kindergarten
Mary McLean started preschool
Marc got a small promotion taking over more practices within his group

Marc got another promotion to a co-director position
Emma was potty trained
Emma started preschool
So in 9 years, we have gotten married, had numerous cars, changed countless jobs, moved even more times, had 3 kids, our first has started school, and our younger two are quickly growing up. We are no longer in the "baby" phase of our lives, no more cribs, diapers, or bottles, and we couldn't be happier. We are totally blessed with the life we have, and count our blessings daily!
