2nd grade

Today is the first day of school.  Our little boy isn't so little anymore.  He's starting 2nd grade today!  How is that possible?  Seriously?  Where does the time go?  I looked at Marc this morning and said, "Our baby boy is almost half way through elementary school!"  How sad.  Why does my child have to be so disobedient and keep growing when I tell him repeatedly to just stop already?

 

I think Andrew is going to have a great year.  I think his teacher is going to be really good, and I'm excited about that.  I believe that she is going to be exactly what I asked for.  We will forget all about last year and move forward with a positive attitude that this year is going to be wonderful! 

Andrew was so excited about school this morning.  He was sitting on the couch at 6:40 with his bookbag on, and lunch box in hand, ready to go.  Every time I would walk by, or get up from wherever I was sitting, he would say to Emma, "Well, I think it's time for me to go!"
