Monday was the day. The first day back at dance. We are starting at a new studio this year, and I think it's going to be great! I had wanted to send MM to Miller Street 2 years ago, but the Providence Rd location was a bit too far for us. They opened a 2nd location in Ft Mill last year which is perfect for us, since we were already driving to Ft Mill for dance anyways.
The girls were so excited! Mary Mac came downstairs after her nap with her leotard and tights already on. Of course then when Emma woke up, she pitched a fit because she wanted her "uniform" (as she called it) on right then! I got Emma dressed and she ran downstairs to find her ballet shoes. I was so glad she was excited!
Right before leaving, I had to snap a few pictures of my pretty ballerinas! :)
Emma- so proud to be in her "uniform"
Little posers
Emma is ready to go!
Mary McLean's class is before Emma's, so Emma had to wait (not-so) patiently for her class to start. She kept asking me if it was her turn yet. She was so ready to go, that when she fell outside on the concrete before going into the studio, she barely cried at all!
Is it my turn yet?
Finally! I get to go in!
I brought Mary Mac and Mackenzie home after their class and Misty brought Emma and Campbell home when they were done. Emma came running inside all excited, she immediately pulled her tap shoes out of her bag and put them on so she could show me what she could do! It was adorable!
The hole in her tights kept getting bigger as the night went on, so Emma took them off, but insisted on putting her leotard back on. Then at bedtime she pitched a small fit when I made her take it off to put her pajamas on, and then cried even more when I tossed it in the dirty clothes. haha! Why do I get the feeling that she is asleep with it in her bed right now???? ;)
