After church, we all came back to the house and enjoyed a nice dinner and spending some time together before sending the kids off to bed.
When we finished dinner, the kids got to do something they had been looking forward to since Nana had arrived earlier in the day...eating the gingerbread house. Nana's friend (Jewa to my kids), gives her a gingerbread house every year, and my kids then get to eat it at Christmas. They wasted no time devouring the little house...

Before going up to bed Emma looked at us and said, "Tell Santa not to 'HoHoHo' when he comes, cause it will wake me up!" That girl cracks me up! She is so funny!
Surprisingly enough, the kids actually went right to sleep, it shocked all of us because they were all so wound up before bed, and with Mary Mac and Andrew sharing a room, I thought for sure we would have to go up there several times to quiet them down. However, they surprised us and all went straight to sleep. When we checked on them around 9:15, they were all sleeping soundly. :)
