Christmas snow

I loathe snow.  I mean I REALLY don't like snow.  It's nice to look at when it's all untouched and covering the ground, but once it's been trampled on or starts messing with the roads, I don't like it one bit.  But I get all bundled up and go outside with the kids and watch them run around and play in the snow,  I catch snowflakes on my tongue with them, and toss a few snowballs around. Snow is much better to me when it falls during a school vacation-duh, school doesn't get canceled then, or on the weekend- cause then Marc can play in the snow with them, and I can just stand back and take pictures.  I would much rather sit by the fire with a mug of hot chocolate.  :)
As much as I don't like snow though, I do like the pretty pictures it gives me of my kids all bundled up in their warmest winter gear.  They do look so cute.

20 mintues later, we are all ready to head outside

Andrew loves the snow, he would stay outside all day in it if I would let him.  The wet feet and jeans, don't bother him one bit.

Emma liked it a bit more this year than last year.

Mary McLean wanted to take her new umbrella outside to shield her from the falling snow

Andrew about to launch a snowball at his daddy.

Brr...it's cold!

One of the rare moments Andrew was still for me.  ;)

Emma wanted to catch a few snowflakes too

Probably one of their favorite things when it snows- The "snow slide"
