The Jolly Roger- Day 6

This was Emma most mornings.  She had the craziest bed-head each day, and it was only tamed down by the eye patch she would put on as soon as she got up.  :)
Someone had dug a huge hole and left it along with a giant mountain of sand that the kids had the best time playing in.
Andrew digging the hole a bit deeper.
Emma running around in her "pool"
Nana in the water!!!!
Mary McLean finally figured out the boogey board on the afternoon of Day 5.  I didn't have my camera with me at the beach though to document it.  She was so very proud of herself.  We were all down at the beach when she figured it out that afternoon, except Nana.  Mary McLean asked if she could run back up to the house to get Nana to come down to watch her, and we said she could.  She ran up there and dragged Nana back out on the beach, Nana said when she got up to the house she came in and said, "Nana!  I can boogey board now!  Do you want to come back down to the beach and watch me, and then you can tell me how good I'm doing, and how proud you are of me, and then you can give me a high five!?"  We were rolling!  She had a script already in place for Nana for when they got back down there, and it went exactly like that too!  She is such a mess!
Emma building a castle
The pirate came back again!
The girls each got a Dot-to-Dot book (mary mac loves them), and Andrew got a Pirate sticker book.

I love that Emma wears the eye patch all day, every day! What a cutie. I love that the pirate comes to visit each day, such a fun idea!!!
