On Thursday I didn't take the camera out to the beach, I mean there are only so many pictures I can take of them playing in the tidal pools and building sand castles. ;) I think we got a pretty good idea of what that looked like from earlier in the week. haha!
The pirate brought them each some new silly bands- Andrew-pirate, Mary McLean- cheerleaders, and Emma- beach
Dancing to something on tv.
Doing the treasure hunt/search and find book with Nana that night.
On Friday we woke up to overcast skies, and a little thunder. Andrew was dying to go back to Ft. Moultrie again (we went a couple years ago and he loved it). Since we couldn't decide on anything else to do, we headed over there. Mary McLean was less than thrilled at being there, but she suffered through. It was extremely hot while we were there as of course the sun had come out by that point! ;)
After leaving Ft Moultrie, we came home and ate lunch and then headed out to the beach for the rest of the afternoon for our last day out there. It ended up being a beautiful day out there, and for once, the adults had to tell Andrew and Mary McLean it was time to go in. I hated doing it as they were playing so well together and actually working together to build a fort in the sand.
The kids before digging up their last pirate treasure
They each got little treasure chests with something different inside each one. What a great pirate this was that came to visit us again this year!
