Saturday our on the beach, was a lot like Friday, it was super windy and sand was blowing like crazy. Therefore I did not get any pictures of the kids out on the beach, not to mention the fact that they didn't last very long out there. We spent a lot of time up at the house on Saturday, yet somehow, the pirate managed to sneak in and bury treasure for them. Andrew and Mary McLean were very impatient waiting for Emma to wake up from her nap because it meant they couldn't dig up the treasure yet. Once they saw Emma's feet hit the floor, they were ready to dig!
Emma barely awake from her nap, but ready to dig
They had been waiting all afternoon for her to wake up
Checking out their treasure chest. Emma was most excited about the map!
This child loves maps, I think it's from Dora. She makes "maps" with pictures she colors at home and carries them around everywhere for days.

Emma rolling her eyes at something GUD said
We went out to the beach after dinner to play
Everyone with their shovels ready to dig
Before too long the girls were soaking wet from jumping in the water and took their pants off. Yes, we were those redneck type people out there on the beach without bathing suits, letting our kids run around in their underwear.
Emma had fun jumping into the hole that her daddy had dug

That is such a creative idea and the kids looked like they really loved it!
