Walk the plank- Day 4

Monday was a bittersweet day for us.  It was another gorgeous, calm day on the beach, but it was a day we had to say good-bye to our dear friends, the Grants.  They were leaving us to head home to pack up to drive down to Florida to spend the rest of the summer, as Scott recently got a new job down there.  We really hate to see them go, but are enjoying every minute we get to spend with them between now and when they make the final move sometime in the next year.
The kids had a great time playing on the beach again.  We were lucky that low tide was in the mornings every day while we were there, so Emma had tidal pools to play in the entire week.  She was ok in the ocean as long as someone carried her out past the breakers (mainly, me), she just didn't care for the "waves crashing into" her.
Andrew and Mary McLean love being in the ocean, and are always trying to coax some willing adult to go out deeper with them.

Andrew is such a fish.  He loves the water!

Mary Mac and Mackenzie took the boogey boards out to try and catch some waves.

Mary Mac and Mackenzie also tried some paddle ball- what a sight!  ;) haha
The pirates came back AGAIN!

Dig, dig, dig, dig
They each got their own tattoos.  What a hit, each child had to immediately put one on, although, Emma decided she didn't like it and just as quickly took hers off.
