On Sunday morning, we got up and loaded the car back up, checked out of the hotel and set off on the next leg of our adventure. We stopped to eat some breakfast and to top off our gas tank. (side note, we made it all the way down to FL and back with under $100 in gas, how awesome is that!?) Emma was not happy to be back in the car, but once again, we bribed them with DVD's. Mary McLean was a broken record all the way to Orlando, "Where are we going?" "No, we have to go to our other hotel" "Where are Nana and Pops?"
I was ready to pull my hair out and we finally arrived in Orlando. Marc turned the DVD player off and told them to start looking around (we were beginning to see signs for Disney World). It wasn't until we got to the big arch that says: "Walt Disney World where dreams come true" that Andrew figured out where we were going. He and Mary McLean were so excited! We found our resort and Marc and my parents went inside to check in. Andrew and Mary Mac were bursting with excitement, they were ready to get OUT of the car and go see Disney! We got our passes and went over to the building where our room was going to be (it wasn't ready quite yet). We packed a small bag to take with us and then went to the bus stop to go to Magic Kingdom.

On the ride over, as soon as we saw the castle, Mary McLean was in heaven. She kept asking, if we were almost there, she was ready to go find some princesses! When we got inside the park, they were mesmerized and couldn't wait to get on some rides. We went straight to Fantasyland and rode the carosel, Dumbo, and Snow White. We finally convinced them to eat some lunch before we did anything else. I saw that there was a meet and greet with princesses back in Mickey's Toontown Fair, so we made our way in that direction. We stopped to ride the tea cups along the way. Emma thought they were great and loved trying to spin them around. How she knew what she was supposed to do, I have no idea. We made it back to Toontown and while Marc, the kids, and I were in line for a kids roller coaster, my parents went over to check out the line for the princesses. It was only a 15 minute wait, so as soon as we finished our ride we went to stand in line. The kids didn't know what we were in line for, but the minute Mary McLean saw who was there, they were her instant best friends. She plopped herself on the floor next to Sleeping Beauty and carried on a conversation, like they had known each other forever. It was priceless. Andrew was being shy and wouldn't go take his picture with them, and Emma kept a safe distance away and just observed everything. MM kept asking them (Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Belle) where all the other princesses were. She told Belle that she was Sleeping Beauty too, Belle asked her if her brother was a prince or a pirate and she told him he was a pirate. Then she asked if Emma was a princess too, and MM promptly corrected her and said, "No, she's a Dalmation!" (their halloween costumes). It was a great experience and MM had an ongoing list of which princesses were still left to meet. ;)
After one or two more rides, we headed back to the hotel for dinner and to meet up with Grandma and Grandpa. When we got back I called to see about getting reservations and they said they could seat us at 5:45 (it was 5:30)! We scrambled to get things somewhat put away and hurried over to our resort restaurant to meet up with everyone for dinner. The kids did awesome at dinner, I was worried there energy level may be a little too high for a sit down meal, but they proved me wrong. After dinner we headed back to our room to get organized and rest up for a big day on Monday!
