Tuesday morning we had another meal with the characters. This time we were going to the "Supercalafragalistic Breakfast" hosted by Mary Poppins. It was at one of the Magic Kingdom resorts, so we planned to meet everyone else there when we were finished. We walked over to the bus stop and my parents walked up, MM and Andrew ran over to them and I thought it would be a great photo op, so I pulled the camera out, as soon as I pressed the power button, the lens stuck and it started beeping at me! OH NO! The same thing that happened to my mom's camera happened to mine (cursed Cannon)! I almost burst into tears and my parents said they would go find a camera store while we were at breakfast to see if they could get them fixed. My mom handed me the disposable camera she had bought the day before and took my camera just as the bus was pulling up. I was devastated, but thankful that I at least had something to take pictures with.
We arrived at our breakfast an hour early so we spent the time at the Grand Floridian resort watching old Mickey Mouse cartoons. I checked us in for our reservation 30 mintues early, and they actually sat us within 10 minutes! We enjoyed our buffet breakfast with Mickey Mouse waffles and several characters including: Mary Poppins, Tigger, Pooh, The Mad Hatter, and Alice in Wonderland. Alice asked Mary Mac what her name was and she answered, "Um, Princess." I just started laughing, she really had princesses on the brain! Emma was a bit nervous around the costumed characters like Tigger and Pooh and would try to climb out of her high chair when they came near her.
After breakfast we hopped on the monorail and headed back to Magic Kingdom to spend the rest of the day there. We got there before the grandparents, so while I took the girls to the bathroom, Marc went and got fastpasses for Space Mountain. The line was only 10 minutes, so he and Andrew got to ride while we were in the restroom. They came out about the time everyone else arrived, unfortunately my parents weren't able to get the cameras fixed, but they did find a Kmart and bought several different kinds of disposable cameras. Who knew there were so many options!? Our fastpass time had arrived, so my parents took the girls to a more kid-friendly ride while Marc, Andrew, Grandpa, and I rode Space Mountain. I sat behind Andrew so I could hear him laughing. He kept both hands in the air the entire ride. He loved it! When we walked up the lady taking the fastpasses gave ours back to Andrew and said, "Here, you can come ride again." When we finished the ride he wanted to go back on it, so we went out and found Grandma and she took a turn with us. Poor guy won't ever be able to ride another kiddie ride again, he kept saying they were, "boring." ;)
We spent the rest of the day in Magic Kingdom riding different rides, Andrew also got a couple turns on Thunder Mountain Railroad before the day was over. Much to Grandpa's dismay, we got in line for "It's a Small World" (is the song stuck in your head now?) Well, let me tell you, it was totally worth the ride because Emma LOVED it! I mean, she was all smiles and laughter the entire time, she was bouncing around and dancing too, if I had my camera, I could have taken a video of it. :(
It was really hot on Tuesday, so the kids enjoyed Mickey Mouse ice creams while we waited for the parade to start. Emma slept through the entire parade, but MM and Andrew loved it. Mary Mac would yell out every character that came down the road before it got to us. She was so excited to finally see Snow White too! After the parade we went over to Adventureland and rode Pirates of the Carribean, Aladdin's Magic Carpets, and took a Jungle Cruise. After all that, it was getting close to dinner time, so we split up and went to find something to eat. Andrew wasn't wanting a burger or chicken fingers, so Grandma and Grandpa took him up to a place that had pizza. When we finished dinner we decided that we had had a big enough day and headed back to the resort to rest up for Wednesday.
Grandma and Grandpa came by our room shortly after we got back to say goodbye because they were leaving early Wednesday morning. Andrew was very sad to see him go. He perked up a little bit when I said he could spend the night with Nana and Pops in their room.
