We arrived back in Charlotte last night around 5:45...not bad for leaving Disney at 8:40 yesterday morning. We stopped for breakfast (briefly...more on that later), lunch, and one potty break.
Disney was fabulous and the kids had the BEST time. I think Mary McLean is in princess heaven now, and Andrew is still on a charge from all the roller coasters- he's such a little dare devil! Emma was perfect as usual for all that we put her through.
I will have pictures up as soon as I can, but we had some technical difficulties while we were there. Monday afternoon, my mom's camera broke, so she had to buy a disposable one. Then Tuesday morning, I opened mine up to take a picture and it was broken too. I was devastated! We were about to leave for a character breakfast, so my mom gave me her disposable one and took both our cameras to try and find a place to fix them...no such luck, so while they were out, they bought an assortment of disposable ones to use for the rest of the trip (who knew there were so many options out there). I took them to Target this morning to have them developed and get picture CD's, but of course now their CD burner is broken, so I can't get the pics up here yet! Grrrrr!
The kids did great in the hotel rooms, they were so worn out at the end of the day that they would just crash wherever we would leave them. Andrew spent the night Tuesday in my parents room. On Wednesday morning while we were getting dressed, I got a text from my mom that said "Call me." That's never a good sign. I called immediately and found out that Andrew had been throwing up. I got on the phone with him and he sounded miserable, poor little guy. She told us to go on ahead to Hollywood Studios and if he felt better that she would bring him later. Right before we left she called and said he told her he wanted to try and go, so we went to the bus stop to wait for our shuttle. While we were waiting, Andrew was getting paler and paler, we finally convinced him that he probably didn't really want to go yet, so he and my mom went back to her room to rest. Marc, my dad, and I headed to Hollywood Studios with the girls. Marc and I rode Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller coaster, and then we took the girls to see the "Little Mermaid" show and a "Playhouse Disney" show. Emma and MM really liked the Playhouse Disney show and had fun dancing along with the songs. After that we decided to head back to the resort and check on Andrew. He and Nana met us at the food court in our resort and sat with us while we ate. Marc took Andrew over to the gift shop to look for a special treat and he started to perk up some. Then we went and spent some time playing games in the Arcade and he really started to perk up. We took it easy the rest of the afternoon and got ready to go back to Magic Kingdom to watch the fireworks. On Thursday, Andrew seemed to be doing much better, although he still didn't have a huge appetite at breakfast. It POURED on Thursday! There wasn't an inch of my clothes that was dry when we got back to our room. We had planned on making a full day of it at Magic Kingdom, but the rain ran us off. We went to our room and played for a little while before heading to Epcot for our last night and watch the laser/fireworks show.
Friday we got up to leave, Marc packed the car and loaded the kids up. We got in ready to drive off and our battery was dead. No problem, we have jumper cables in the back of the car...my dad pulled his car over and we popped the hoods to hook up the cables...after Marc slightly electricuted himself a couple times (no not really, I'm exaggerating), we were off. We waited until we got right outside of Orlando and stopped for some breakfast. As soon as we walked into the McDonald's Andrew puked all over the floor. My mom ran him back to the bathroom were he threw up some more. Hence the "quick" stop for breakfast. He laid down in the back and went to sleep and slept until right before we got to Georgia, and looked like he was getting some color back into his cheeks too. Fortunately we made it home without any other accidents and Andrew is definately back to his old self.
As soon as we can get some pictures back, I'll get them posted. Hope you all had a great week!

Oh my goodness, I can't believe poor Andrew was sick :( I hope nobody else gets it! And your broken cameras--I would die! Sounds like a fun trip anyway :)
