Emma turned 15 months this past Monday. She continues to amaze me daily. I sat down the other night and started writing down all her words and phrases and she has over 50 of them! She is quite verbal. She knows where her; head, hair, ears, eyes, nose, and belly button are. She knows the sounds that a; cow, duck, and dog make, and she is getting close to the cat sounds. Emma has also become quite the climber. Her favorite thing to climb on now is the child-sized table and chairs we have in the playroom. She'll go in there and climb up on the table and sit down, then she'll start calling for "Mommy" or "Daddy," as soon as we get in there, she starts grinning and says, "Stuck!" She is such a stinker! ;)
I have signed Emma up for "Toddle Time" at the library this month, several of her friends from playgroup are in there with their mommies too, so it really is a lot of fun. Emma had the BEST time there. She loved the stories and songs we danced to. Her all time favorite thing was the bubbles at the end, she ran around the room chasing after the millions of bubbles screaming, "Bubbles, bubbles" and laughing. I think we were the last ones out of the room because she was so fascinated, she had to wait until every one of the tiny bubbles had popped.
We have started keeping her friend Campbell this week and Emma loves having her friend here. When Campbell gets here in the mornings, Emma starts bouncing up and down smiling and says, "Bambell, Bambell, Bambell!" She loves to give Campbell hugs and play with her.
Emma is a very lovable and social child, I feel so blessed to have her in our lives.
