Once upon a time...

In a land far away,
the kingdom was gathering
for Mary McLean's 3rd birthday!
The princesses all dressed in their most beautiful gowns,
headed to her castle with their shoes and their crowns.
Today we had a Princess Tea Party to celebrate Mary McLean's birthday. She had a wonderful time and was so excited to see all her friends again. She of course didn't want to put on her Sleeping Beauty costume, so we pulled out one of her dresses from her tea party this past summer and she called it her "Snow White" dress.
At her party, we colored princess pictures, decorated tiaras, and had a tea party with all of her favorites; fruit, deviled eggs, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and pink lemonade, of course!

Princess Isabel

All the princesses enjoying their tea party

Anna Kate, such a cutie!

Isabel, always has a pretty smile for the camera

Mary McLean ready to serve more lemonade, after this we had minor accident and had to change dresses, which explains the change in attire for the rest of the pictures.
GUD explained that a princess always changes clothes for each course! ;)

The birthday cake, and yes I did make it! Aren't you so impressed now?

Blowing out the candles, Ava was such a big help at the party

Let them eat cake...

Campbell even got a taste, getting ready for her birthday in a few weeks!

Opening her presents

She got such wonderful gifts and is already enjoying each one of them!

Emma wearing the tiara Ava made, I think Emma's ready to have another birthday for herself! ;)
When I was putting Mary McLean to bed tonight she said to me, "Mommy, I'm still the birthday girl, right?" Oh how her world is going to come crashing down tomorrow when she realizes her reign is over. haha

Too sweet. I actually, literally need to know how you did the cake. Gralynn's 4th is coming up and she is insisting on a princess cake. I'd prefer to make one myself, but did not have a vision until I saw yours. Will you email me: krob721@yahoo.com

Marianne,

So glad that David and the girls were able to come! It was just precious and I was so sorry to miss it! The girls had a wonderful time and the princess notepads and crayons came in VERY handy on our cross country trips this week for the holidays! Thank you so much for inviting us!!!!!! Julia
