Ok, I admit, I am a little excited about the holiday season approaching. I love this time of year, and now that we have kids, it's even more exciting. I feel like a kid again myself. There was a time not so long ago when I was working in retail that I would have just assumed skip Christmas. (But seriously, if you were working in retail during that time of year, you would feel the same way)
This year I am especially excited. In exactly 4 weeks from today, we will be at Disney world! The kids have no idea we are taking this trip, and I can NOT wait to see the look on their faces when we arrive at our Disney resort. Marc and I first talked about it back in May or June, Andrew overheard us and the next day, he kept saying, "I want to go to Disney World, I want to go to Disney World!" We told him that we didn't have enough money to go and that we would have to save our money so that one day we could hopefully go. I just found out from my mom a couple weeks ago that Andrew is putting his money in his piggy bank so that we can go to Disney World some day. How sweet is this kid?!
We have all kinds of neat things planned for our trip, we are having dinner with the Disney princesses one night for Mary McLean, and then we have 2 other character meals planned as well. Both of our parents are going to be joining us for portions of the trip, so that will be extra special for them to get to experience this with the kids too.

I love the Christmas-y background. And, I cannot believe you would say that you hated the holidays during the "retail-years"...we had so much time to sit back and relax...you must be crazy for thinking otherwise. I don't miss those days at all! I wish I was going to Disney World with y'all too. I could be like a nanny...
What a great surprise for the kids! When we went we wanted to keep it a secret, but ended up spilling the beans within days of planning it!
Now you make me want a christmasy background!
